Artist's Comments

watercolor and gouache, 9x14"

So here's another one! This one's even bigger than the last, and I paid for the extra 2x9" with a lot of time.

Character and concept from this sketch: [link] I changed the composition around because it suits the graphic elements better. Never fear, there'll be a dead-on portrait of one of these fellows. This pose lets me paint a more detailed, decadent costume, though. I had quite a bit of fun again with this one!

Wonderful work! All the time and effort definitely paid off!

I wish I could control washes that well.

You never cease to amaze me with your watercolor work. I couldn't do that if my life depended on it. XP

My niece would absolutely ADORE that piece, too. (She has a thing for skulls and roses.) What would you charge for a print of that for a Christmas present?

Thank you very much!

Hmm... well, if you would like it at full size I will call around to a couple of printing shops in town since I do not have a printer large enough myself (yet). I'll get back to you ASAP.
